We’ve mixed these materials thoroughly with the PET flakes to simulate a real recycling scenario. Next, we’ll start the machine to show how it separates these impurities.
Here, you can see the Concentric Eddy Current Separator efficiently separating the PET flakes and aluminum fragments, directing them into their respective collection bins. The results speak for themselves: clean PET flakes in one bin and aluminum flakes in the other.
So, where do the stainless steel springs go? They are separated at the front end by the high-strength magnetic drum, which effectively captures weakly magnetic materials like these springs. This ensures they are removed early in the process.
As you can see, each material is neatly sorted into its designated bin, achieving precise separation and ensuring the purity of PET flakes.
Next, let’s test the system with PET bottles and aluminum cans.
The machine directs the bottles and cans into their respective bins efficiently. However, while this system is capable of handling such tasks, we recommend a combination of de-ironing systems and eccentric eddy current separators for optimal results with PET bottles.
